This site Spartan OS (the "Site") treats users' personal data as a serious matter and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.
This policy explains for what purpose and in what way the personal data you provide is used, and what we do to protect it.
When this policy is revised, we announce the change in the notice board before it takes effect.
■ Personal data we collect
The Site collects the following for account registration and use of the boards. Trading-account passwords, identity documents and card or bank account details are never collected in any field.
ο Required : username, password, name, nickname, email
ο Optional : mobile number, phone number, address, website, gender, profile text, profile image, referrer
ο Collected automatically : IP address, cookies, service usage records, access logs
ο How we collect it : account registration on the site and use of the boards
■ Why we collect and use personal data
ο Identifying members, confirming identity and preventing misuse
ο Providing community features such as posts and comments
ο Receiving and answering enquiries
ο Service usage statistics and improvement
ο Checking whether a registrant is under 14 years of age
ο Marketing messages are sent only to users who have consented to receive them, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.
■ How long we keep personal data
Once the purpose of collection and use has been met, the data is destroyed without delay. When a member closes their account, their member record is destroyed immediately; posts and comments left on the boards remain unless their removal is requested.
However, where a record must be retained under applicable law, it is kept for the period below. The Site does not sell goods or services, so payment and withdrawal-of-purchase records do not normally arise.
Records on consumer complaints or dispute handling : 3 years (Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
Records on labelling and advertising : 6 months (Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
Records on access : 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
■ Your rights and how to exercise them
You may at any time view, correct or delete your personal data, or ask us to stop processing it. You can change your details or close your account yourself on the member information screen, or contact us at the address below. We act on such requests without delay.
A legal representative may exercise the same rights over the personal data of a child under 14.

■ What we collect through social sign-in, and why
If you sign in with a Google, Naver or Kakao account, we may receive the provider's unique identifier, your name or nickname, your email address, your profile image and any items you consented to, within the scope you allow on the provider's consent screen.
We use that information only to identify members, process sign-in, link accounts, prevent duplicate or fraudulent use and build member profiles. We do not collect trading-account passwords or financial information from social sign-in providers.
Social account linkage data is kept while the member account or the link remains in place, and is destroyed without delay once the account is closed, the link is removed, and any retention period required by law has passed.
■ Google AdSense advertising
The Site does not currently display AdSense advertising. If the operator later enables advertising on the public boards, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses and ad interaction data for serving ads, frequency capping, fraud prevention, performance measurement and, where you have consented, personalised advertising.
Before advertising is enabled we will put in place the consent management platform (CMP) and the privacy and cookie notices required in the applicable regions. You can manage your choices on the consent screen shown to you and in Google's ad settings. While the advertising setting is off, the Site sends no AdSense requests from the boards.
■ Effective date
This policy takes effect on 20 August 2026.
